It was an exciting moment to watch the initial turn-on of the water feature at the Village Heart installation for the upcoming Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, which involves a 7m diameter rain curtain installed 6m above the ground. Working for JMAC Constructions, Aquatic One undertook the design and documentation of the hydraulic components of this water feature, including the custom-made rainfall units, the subterranean equipment room complete with ultrafine filtration system and the associated field plumbing design. This water feature will be a centrepiece for the area.
