Deception Bay Waterplay

Quadrupling the patronage to the facility since opening, the Deception Bay Waterplay provides a much-needed complimentary aquatic facility to the existing pools at the Deception Bay Aquatic Centre. With two primary zoned areas that include a large dumping bucket, a series of ‘Energetic Play’ elements and a range of small ‘Soft Play’ elements, the waterplay attracts kids of all ages in a safe and controlled configuration. Providing a visual enticement from the nearby main street, this waterplay has been greatly received.

• Concept plans and waterplay layouts in conjunction with supplier and builder during tender phase of project

• Reinforced concrete slab structure in poor-quality foundation material
• Applied finishes layout and specification
• Construction stage support and assistance
