Wynnum Aquaplay

In 2017 the existing splash ground at Wynnum was refurbished to provide improved experiences for the community. Aquatic One provided water treatment, circulation system and structural design for the Design and Construct contractor. The design featured difficult soil conditions and innovative structural techniques to reduce slab weight. The zero-depth splash pad includes soakers, ground and feature spraying elements and dumping buckets as well as formed concrete whale statues.
